THIS TICKET IS ONLY VALID FROM APRIL 1st TO SEPTEMBER 30th. Your ticket will not work outside this period.
Self-guided tour of the Castle and Ramparts of the City of Carcassonne
The "Self-guided tour" gives access to the château comtal and its ramparts, its archaeological museum and its shop. It continues with a panoramic visit of the ramparts offering magnificent views of the landscape and the fortifications of the medieval city.
Attention, thank you to ensure the opening of the castle before buying a ticket. The Castle is NOT managed by the Tourist Office.
The Château is free to visit during The European Heritage Days.
Between November 1st and March 30th, the castle is free every 1st Sunday of the month.
The date displayed on your ticket corresponds to the purchase date.It is valid for 3 years during the selected period (here from April 1st to September 30th each year for 3 years).
